The Caddo River begins in Montgomery County, and ends at the entry of Degray Lake providing 40 miles of floatable river with most of the river being fairly calm with some class 1 & II rapids.  Great for family adventure. Never far from civilization the river runs close to or through Black Springs, Norman, Caddo Gap, Glenwood and Amity on its way to the backwaters of De Gray Lake.  There are numerous access points with shuttle routes on mostly paved roads.
