Fiddler Creek feeds into the Ouachita River near Sims, Arkansas.  This creek is worthy of being called a river when the water is high, presenting Class Two and Three water for the Experienced Paddler.  Fiddler Creek can be accessed from Blowout Mountain Road off from Hwy 88 near Sims, Arkansas.  This is a very scenic and primitive float.  Caution should be taken considering the possibility of dead fallen trees.

Put-in Take-out Points

  • 3 miles North on Blowout Mt. Road to FS Road 592
  • 4.5 miles to first Low-water bridge.
  • 5.4 miles to Ouachita Trail Trailhead.
