The Little Missouri River starts south of Big Fork, Arkansas in the Ouachita Mountains and travels 29 miles averaging a 35 ft drop per mile. With this precipitous drop, comes some of the best white water in the state, thus it is not recommended for beginners.

Rapids on the Little Mo are rated Class II-III, with Class IV with high water levels.

  • Albert Pike Campground
  • Forest Road 106 north of Langley
  • Arkansas Hwy. 84 bridge west of Langley
  • U.S. Hwy. 70 bridge at the Star of the West area on Lake Greeson.
